Our Mission Statement (Since 2001)
In order to understand the foods people of far-away people, it used to be necessary to travel widely or access a large library of ethnic cookcooks. None of this is true anymore, thanks to the web.
The history of every country lives on the its food. From early hunters and gatherers to today’s magical gourmet e-commerce, we are all on a wonderful journey learning, tasting and sharing new foods and new food combinations.
Food Site of the Day is dedicated to that journey. If you feel we neglect any websites telling of your native country, please let us know (we have a translator): Contact Food Site of the Day
